Over. The. Moon. I. Am.
I can't say enough great things about Jeff Surratt.
We believe this guitar was originally manufactured in around 1970- as a double neck "crossover". From what I've learned it means there was a lever to switch the pedals and knees from neck to the other. Apprently it was a very fragile mechanism, making tuning very difficult, among other things.
Jeff replaced the mechanism with a Show Pro setup. As a Show Pro owner, I can say with NO hesitation, that the action and stability of Show Pro guitars is second to none.
He retained period correct pedals and knee levers.
And the amazing refin from Southbound.
SO what we have now is a guitar that plays like a brand new super PSG, yet she's still got that Show Bud tone.
Heavy as a dead body, but what are you gonna do?
Actually we're solving that one by having a body only case, and a leg/pedal bar case.
Jeff even included a "brand New" ShoBud volume pedal.
TONE for days!!!!
Thank you Jeff!!!

Wow, that's what I call a resurrection!! Beautiful!
Jeff put one of his undercarriages in a red 1970 Professional I have, but I left the original finish since it was in excellent shape. Plays awesome. The boy knows his stuff.
Your guitar's frame was originally black painted al-mag. Was it chromed or just mega-sanded and buffed? _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

Best I've seen and the buffet on the frame is great.
I disconnected the crossover on the one I had 30 something years ago that came with 7 pedals.
Used the barrels to add 4 knee levers for the E9th.
That was a great guitar but this one you now have seems to take the prize.
Good luck with it.
Best wishes,
