I just had a nice conversation with the folks at Emmons, Bobby and Ron. I ordered some parts and they wanted to make sure they had my order correct. Bobby said to be sure and greet everyone on the Forum and extend their gratitude for all the "nice" things being said about them.

Farris dear brother,

It seems to me loke you are like an ostrich. This bird buries its head in the sand and ties to ignore reality and pretend that that all is well when in fact it is not.

Also, look back over these posts. Do you see any greetings expressed, other than Nice comments???

Farris, I don't know what Bible you read ,but I always thought "nice Christian people" were supposed to treat each other fairly and with compasion , or does that not apply if you are from Holland. But there again as long as you and Erve get your parts , I don't suppose it matters.Sure makes me glad I'm not a Christian ,just a plain old humanist.Regards Malcolm

The word nice being in quotes indicates sarcasm. It indicates that there is not a concern for anyone at all, including their own reputation. This is poor public relations. This is a slap in the face.

This is no longer about one customer's situation and problem. This is about how a company conducts business and whether or not they value a good part of the steel buying community.

Does The Emmons Company owe anyone except Cor an explanation? No.

Would it have been good stratagy on their part to do so? Yes.

If you mention The Emmons Company in any thread on this forum, will it likely bring about this topic? Yes.

So that's what it takes,...candy?

HOW "NICE" !

I hope they have at least 3000 pcs of candy in stock

What we would respect from Emmons is for them to make things right with Cor. An apology and $4500 (or his guitar) would be a good start.

Erv Niehaus!!

Is this the same Erv Niehaus who writes the free tab for all these glorious hymns that have lyrics encouraging us to love our neighbor, to treat people fairly and equally, and not just to be selfishly concerned with ourselves and the treatment we receive. Of course, we could respond "Who is my neighbor??" like the rich young sinner in Matthew!!

TB,
Yes, my brother,
The confession booth is open. Ron Lashley is my brother and neighbor. Is he yours?

Dear Erv,

If you do not sincerely believe the lyrics of these songs, and do not express their lyrics in a practical way in respect of our brother Cor, perhaps you should desist from tabbing any more of them. tbh

April: O How I love Jesus

May: How great thou Art

June: Higher ground

August: There's Something About That Name

Sept: Now I Belong To Jesus

October: Just a closer walk with Thee

November God bless America
We are so Blessed

Ron may be your" brother",but how about Cor, you seem not to regard him as a brother, isn't it Christian to help those who have been wronged.I may be cynical but the way you keep defending the Lashleys makes me wonder what connection you have with the company.

Funny. Ev'rytime I hear no matter what artists known as believing christians being interviewed on the radio, their reply to the question as to why they do believe is always something like "It's so fulfilling to feel belief in a higher power which is able to share forgiveness for you, no matter what wrong you do"

For me personally it's not that easy. I have
to take responsibility for my own actions.
Just my two cents.
