I bought a Dillion 8 string this August and its pretty nice. Roller nut is a great addition. The strings that came on it were not as stated. At best I used an altered E tuning to play as is. I have since switched to A6.
well constructed instrument and holds tuning well. String spacing a shade under 3/8. Its a decent value at that price point. I like it over the SX that I own. Time will tell if its a keeper. |

I bought one on eBay last spring, and sent it right back . . Didn't care for it, the pick-up output was weak and the bridge, supposedly rosewood, felt kind of plasticky to me :
The gentleman who markets them returned my money, no problem.
But that was my experience . . Your mileage may vary as they say.
Also own a Gretsch 6 and a Vorson 8 string. These are also Asian imports but a better option IMHO.
None of which are comparable to my custom made Rukavina 6 and Melbert 8 strings. Far superior and really not a lot more money . . _________________ GFI Expo X1, Melbert 8, Rukavina 6
