Prowling YouTube for decent music and came across this gal from the UK. Either these old ears are too far gone, or the sound quality isn't the best, but I can't get enough of the lyrics to figure out a song title.

Anybody know the song? Original to her or something a US singer did before her? I like it, altho I wish the steel player had ditched the 6-string and just stuck with steel for the whole thing.

Don I don't know the name of the song. The steel/guitar player is Derek Thurlbey.

Catchy little tune. It appears to be "1-2-3" by Norweigian singer Maryanne Elstad Olsen aka Ann Tayler.

Interesting note in the translated Wikipedia page: "Record sales hers is mainly at gas stations, and in very small degree in the country's record stores."

Wow Jim - that's it and I'm impressed as can be you found it. Apparently it's nothing that has made the US charts.

Thank you! And yes, it is catchy - a brain worm, it gets into my head and won't leave!
