I have known Bill Ray for at least ten years, Have been to his shop several times since 1991. He installed 2 knee levers on my Sho-Bud Professional, good work and they work to this day.
He builds a guitar just like the Sho-Buds, piping and all, wood bodies, stay in tune.
Was at his shop 2 weeks ago on his birthday, 79 again, lol.
Bill makes all the parts for his guitars, pedals, narrow, pedal bar, winds his own pups, cuts all his metal parts from stock right in his shop.
He has three set up finished ready for sale now, a single, a single on a double frame, and a D10, one blue one green and one red, they are beautiful, and he makes and finishes his own cabnets.
He is a fine man and is good to deal with, his workmanship is second to none.
There is no guitar out there that looks any better than his, sound great and stays in tune. NO WE ARE NOT KIN, I met him as a customer and know his work.
