Kenneth Pryor former front man and bass player for Johnny Paycheck has died in Mattoon Illinois at the age of 76. He sung and played bass for Johnny in 1972.
He also was in bands in the central Illinois area during the 60's and 70's
His funeral will be at McMullin-Young Funeral Home in Lovington Illinois at 11 AM Friday 16 September with visitation one hour prior.

Played many gigs with Kenny back in the day. Have not heard anything about him in years, sorry for his passing. May he rest in peace.

Goodbye for now old friend. I hate to say, but I haven't stayed in contact since he moved to Mattoon.We played music together many times over the past 35 years.

Mike I remember the time you, Kenny and I played music for the folks at Lakeside Manor on Route 36 east of town. Must have been in the early 80's
