I really shouldn’t think about selling this as it is probably the best sounding guitar I have ever owned – but I just don't play enough 6th and thinking about going back to an SD-10
It is a Pearl essence white, Not sure if that is the right lingo -Kinda white with some silver grain in it
It was an 7x4 When I bought it from Roy Thomas who is the builder of Pedalmaster guitars and a close friend and lives near the original owner Pee Wee Whitewing – Roy told me to get ahold of GFI for anything I needed as he worked a long time with the Late Gene Fields and undercarriage parts were interchangeable . I got ahold of them and added a LKV to it – Works Great and bolted right on.
The Danny Shields pickup is a Great adjustable Pickup !!
Case is like new and guitar is in great shape with just a very few, hardly noticeable nicks.
Copedant is Emmons on the ABC pedals
Newman setup on 4,5,6,7
LKL Raises 4&8
RKR Lowers 4&8
LKR lowers 6 to F# with split tuning with B pedal + Also Raises 1&2
LKV Lowers 5 ½ & 1 step with half stop feel – Gives you the “Franklin change”
* The1/2 stop feel is accomplished by lowering the 12th string 1 step to give you an (1note) or an A note on the pedal down position
RKL Lowers 2nd string and raises 9th 1-1/2
$2300 shipped & insured in the states
Thanx…….Ron 563-357-0688
Would consider a quality Pro model SD-10 on trade- at least 3x5

Ron, does this General have a 13th finger in the changer for use with half stops? There should be a cut out in the endplate for access to rods for half stops if so.
Also what's the scale of the neck? I think Roy built these with 25-inch scale, is that how yours measures out? What year is it? Thanks for answers and details!

Are those GFI bell cranks? If you can post closeups of them, I'll know by seeing them. Closeup of the keyless tuner would be helpful, too.

Roy told me he thought it was a 1999 - GFI parts fit on as I mentioned when I added the knee lever - Bell cranks are same as GFI - No extra finger, I used the 3 rod method on the 6 lower - 5th lower has 1/2 stop feel as I mentioned - 24" Scale - Also When Pee Wee received the guitar originally it had 8 floor pedals - They removed one and the cross shaft is still on the guitar, but no pedal & rod - I will add a couple of more pics
Thanx... Ron
