Nice old Session 500. What they say about these is true: Great huge sound, but it weighs 1000 lbs (actually approx. 82 - I think).
The string (distortion) effect seems to work ok, although a little is A LOT. The phase shifter works, but there is a sound like a quiet telegraph machine that happens. Both of these effects are awful, and I'm not sure anybody would use them. The reverb works fine.
It's old, and dusty on the inside. The pots have a occasional scratch, but nothing terrible.
I'll let this one go for $225 plus packing and shipping. I've never sent anything this big and heavy before, but I'll seek the least expensive method I can find.
I'd also be willing to do a trade for a NV112.

Recently purchased two of these. Great sounding and put my two NV 112 in the closet. Shipping was actually not that bad, high but not that bad, all considered. Regarding the noise, I also had but discovered it is the settings. _________________ Justice " The Judge"

Sounds like the pots need cleaning, if you are have some scratchiness. About the only thing I would use on it was the reverb on the amp and maybe a stomp box delay. I have played through one and I have found, they are great amps. A tad on the heavy side, but a great amp nevertheless. |
