has anyone ever dealt with randy reimer. i sent him a check for some parts on the first of sept. he said that i would get them in a few days. i have emailed him 3 times in the last 2 weeks and he won't email back. there has been plenty of time to get the parts here. at this point i would just like to have my $110.00 back.

Mr. Martin: You've been had. You will never
see the parts or your money back.
I thought every one knew about Randy Reimer, as this has been discussed before.
Real sorry about your loss.

Maybe I'm a lucky one, but I bought some MSA parts from Randy a couple of years ago and got them right away. I think it was about two weeks from the time I sent the MO until I got the parts. They worked OK and the price was reasonable. Maybe things have changed since then.

nuff said. Randy, we know you read the Forum occasionally. Would it be too much to ask you to reply to some of these emails?

I'm not sure, but I think Randy was removed from the vendor list and not allowed to post on the forum.

Also see the post about MSA parts from Randy and bOb's reply.

I thought he was removed from the Forum's vendor list too, and a search didn't find him listed. I'm curious as to how Robert found Randy to order parts from in the first place.

If Randy still has a web site offering parts for sale, someone should contact his ISP and report him for Internet fraud. Come to think of it, there's a magazine site that probably should be reported as well.

Read his website...

It says 2-12 weeks for MSA parts.

You ordered on September 1.
So he has not missed his deadline yet.

Robert, the posts on the other topic are from July, 2001! Back then he was delivering the parts people ordered. It has been within the last couple years that he started taking money and not shipping the parts.

I ordered 300.00 of the MSA parts from this nice fellow 2 years ago. Called the house in Canada, several times and talked to his mother. And him also. He said it would be coming in the mail. It has not come yet! No emails from this guy yet!!!
I did everything to put this guy out of business, There were sights available to follow thru on legal proceedings, which others were doing, and i contacted them. Was involved with having him kicked off the Forum more than once, but like a bad disease he keeps appearing from time to time. WE have such short memories.
I dont know about anybody else but only the 300.00 will make me think any differently about him! Stay away from this guy, as he is real trouble.

I ordered a lever kit from him a couple of years ago. He let me know it would be a while because he was a bit behind in his work. I did eventually get my order, and he followed up on it to make sure everything worked. I'm sorry to hear that people are having problems. Are there other sources of old MSA parts?

It wonder if it is possible to have a class action suit launched against him ? I know there's some forum buffs that are also lawyers...any advice?
