If I could take only three steel guitar CDs to a desert island (or solitary confinement), I’d choose “A Trip in the Country” by Roger Miller, “Live at Panther Hall” by Charlie Pride and “Steel Guitar Jazz in Four Wheel Drive.”
If I could only take one, it would be “Steel Guitar Jazz in Four Wheel Drive.” Just my opinion.
Added 8/18/22: I've made a couple of changes/improvements to "Cajun Steel" since I originally posted this. PM me if you'd like a new copy.

Another priceless tab by Frank Freniere. There's so much 'forgotten' material out here, it's hard to realise ... _________________ 1974 Sho Bud "The Professional"; 2017 Show Pro D 10; BJS Bar "John Hughey"; Goodrich Steel Driver III; Live Steel Strings |

Frank.....you are awesome.
If ever you have 'nothing to do', the link below leads to a wonderful version of 'I Love You Because' as played by Tim Sergent some years ago at Bobbe Seymour's Jackson Steel Guitar Day at Steel Guitar Nashville. There are many steel guitar versions of the song but this one is so very melodic. Tab of this song would be a wonderful gift to the world.
Best regards,
Ben Rubright
