2016 Aug Review
The rain ceased just in time for everyone to arrive dry and ready for some great music. In spite of the fact there were only 5 players we all enjoyed the aftrernoon. The players able to attend were: Beverly Harris, Eddie Lane, Terry Bethel, Ron Erickson, David Dean White & Charlie Steichen played a couple songs using Terry’s guitar. The band consisted Buddy Lewis on bass & vocals, Russ Burns on drums & vocals, and Dino Strunk on lead & vocals. Cathy Smeenk also sang several songs. There was approximately 17 people in the crowd.
Thanks to Buddy for providing the sound system. Thanks to all who provided food for our breaks. Thanks to the Ozark Steel Guitar Association for everything they do to make the jam sessions possible. Thanks to the Stone Castle Hotel & Convention Center for the great venue and providing us with coffee. Thanks to all those who attended and cheered the players and singers on!…..Hope to see more of y’all at the next jam, Oct 16th!
