That was great ! Years ago I went to Herbs place on Jean Street in Houston and he came out to his garage, opened up shop and I wandered and wondered...I think I bought a record of his and then later purchased an Emmons steel from him...always admired his talent and friendliness !

HERB IS ONE OF THE BEST,AND A GOOD GUY . I PURCHASED
2 EMMONS STEELS AT DIFFERENT TIMES ,AND I MUST SAY
HE IS A FINE PERSON TO DEAL WITH .
HER DOES HIS SESSIONS AT LIME LIGHT STUDIO IN
DICKINSON TEXAS I OFTEN WOULD BE IN THE CONTROL ROOM
HE WOULD ASK ME HOW DID THAT SOUND , I ALWAYS REPLIED '' SOUNDS GOOD TO ME .
KNOWING HOW GOOD HE WAS , I
WONDERED WHY IS HE ASKING ME ,BECAUSE HE IS IN THE
HALL OF FAME .
