Hi ev'rybody!
I was just wondering about which actual year this psg. (which I've had for 2/3 year and love dearly) was actually build.
I haven't succeded to find anything clearly defined as a serialnumber, but this is what I found:
Serialnumbers. MCI RangeXpander S-10 3x4
Endplate at head: A 1098
Inside apron towards player: 1009
At Changer: 1144
The guitar is black mica, and the body appears to be a solid frame of welded aluminium with wood top.
Hope to get some responses from this incredibly qualified crowd.
All the best........

Klaus, sorry I don't have my serial # with me, (I'm at work) -- but my MCI Rangexpander D10 was built in 1986 (I got it brand new)..
so your guitar is probably from around about that time.

Hi!
Thanks a lot! I actually was told to try and ask Bud Carter because he's been involved in the manufacture. It' a great instrument!

Klaus, I'm sure Bud would be able to give you some info -- Carter parts will fit the guitar too if you need to update anything.
Apart from crossrods that is -- GFI's crossrods will fit though.

Thanks a lot for the info
It's great to know what might help you further in the event that an instrument, like mine, is actually discontinued and parts are no longer manufactured!
