Yesterday I had the pleasure of delivering a gift from the steel guitar lovers at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame to JayDee. A downsized replica of their exhibit on "Sweetheart Of The Rodeo", the seminal country rock album on which JayDee and Lloyd Green shared steel guitar credits. This from the same great folks who organized the tribute to Buddy Emmons there. If you're going to be in Nashville a visit is highly recommended.

"Sweetheart" is a sweetheart of an album. May I say this?

Great picture! How does JayDee stay so young looking? Speaking of his work on Sweethearts, he could have also won an award for his outstanding work on "Bakersfield Bound" with Chris Hillman & Herb Pedersen. Smile

Hello JayDee,

Congratulations to you on this well deserved award.

I was present in Minneapolis in March of 1968 when JayDee played his 1st performance with Buck Owens. That was 48 years ago, so JayDee must have been a Teenager then. Smile
