I had this from Zumsteel and can't find it. Iknow Hal's set up is different than the "standard." Frank Carter tells me he put it on JD's guitar. Anyone? Mr. Zumsteg?

I don't have Hal's current setup, but in an old Sho-Bud tuning manual his steel was a D-9 and tuned (top to bottom) F E C A G E C A F AND he had 8 floor pedals and 4 knee levers. In Winnie Winston's book his rear neck was a combo E9th added 6th and tuned G# E C# B G# E B G# C# F# on a D-10 and used a 5x5 pedal setup.

I'd also like to know what his current setup is.

Bob I can't be much help but maybe this serve as a bump.I almost traded for Hal's green Franklin. This was almost 2 years ago.Hal and I never got together on the deal. The one thing that held me off was the set-up on the C6th.All the standard changes + some things. But the changes were not placed in standard positions. The Franklin had 6 pedals and I'm thinking only 4 knees on C6th.Bottom line I would have had to move every pedal change to get a standard set-up.Since the Franklin has round cross bars it was a little more work and parts to purchase than I wanted to get into.Regards Bobby
