Hello Damir, Looking at the underside pics I noticed that the cross shaft for pedal C, third from the right, Looks to have only one bell crank on it. That shaft for the C pedal would normally raise string 4, E to F#, and string 5, B to C#, which normally requires 2 bell cranks. Am I seeing correctly that the crosshaft for the c pedal only has one bell crank and looks like it only raises the 5th string? Maybe you could verify that and post the copedant. I know at least one steeler that splits that C pedal and puts the E to F# raise on a knee lever. Could that be the setup on this steel? Thanks, Larry
BTW: You should see that SuperPro I bought from you in April. Took lots of it apart and replaced the fret boards, did some rigging and shining on it. It really sparkles now and sounds wonderful. Thanks

February 1975. Wow; very nice and this is within the first year of the new "The Pro II Custom" square front body. And these Sho~Buds are still the awesome sounding and playing Changers and WOW; somebody put the best sounding humbuckers ever made Bill Lawrence 705's on there...which is the perfect match for the real sho~bud sound but without any hum.

Oh I do know tight money..ha.
Man; it also looks so familiar that I think it spent some time over here me doing it up some time ago....but I can't remember clearly enough; since I landed on my head from 15 feet in the air a year ago..ha...> where did you get it? or if you don't wanna mention names...ask if I'm the one that did this up??
Thanks bro...and no worries either way....but yes it is worth MUCH MORE just for sound and play-ability...

Ricky, I got this guitar months ago, probably in some kind of trade, but i can't remember, if previous owner wants to jump in I have no problem, I just truly cant remember, I just recently traded my D10 Fessy, and buyer asked me where did I get it from, and I couldn't remember lol, after doing some digging in my old email I did figure out where I got it from, but I had so many Sho~Buds I just cant remember... guitar is in such a nice shape, I wouldn't be surprised if you had your hands on her at some point Wink

Hi Guys, I'll step up here. I had that SB for about fifteen years and traded it to Damir in a deal for a SKH Emmons. It came to me from the Chicago area, fellow named Bruce something, can't recall his last name. I also upgraded the fingers on both changers with aluminum replacements from Duane Marrs to replace the plated ones and drop filled and polished out the bar dings. Fine playing guitar and sounds great too. Can't speak for Bruce, but I never sent it over to you Ricky.

Great work Bob on switching out fingers; as that's right 1975 was first year Shobud started using just a plated top section of the finger; and so putting Aluminum back in is the real way to go(course Duane built and designed much of it back then...so yeeehaaa). Interesting way to do the linkage pull on the Vertical...who came up with that?? Very nice.

Damir, could you PM me or just post the copedant? I see what the vert lever is doing, but monitor is too small to see much else.
