I am adding the 4th Pedal & 4th Knee lever to my Sierra.
It is setup in a 3-3 Emmons copedent.
Have you folks got any ideas for me.... |

I'm going to assume that the 3 levers are:
1) E's to F
2) E's to D#
3) 2nd string, and possibly string 9 lowers.
The most popular changes that I have seen, are:
P4) The Franklin pedal, lowering strings 5, 6, 10 a whole tone.
Knee lever 4) string 1 to G#, string 2 to E, string 6 to F#.
Many use some different changes, but these are the one's I see the most.

I'd put the 1st and 2nd string raises on P1 (either installing the new pedal beyond the A pedal, or moving the three pedals over), and have the new knee raise 1 to G and drop 6 to F#

Richard Sinkler, You are correct
It can stand to have the pedal to be at the "0" or "4" location, depending on preferences. "4" may be better.
The "NEW" Lever will have to go to the "E" location.
The LKL raises the Es at the 3rd fret
The RKR lowers the Es at the changer
The RKL lowers 2 & 9 at the 22nd fret
I can also add a new pedal at 4 or 0 |

I have my Sierra D-10 set up as Richard mentioned...mostly.
On my 2 & 9 lower knee, I also have 7th string raise. I have the Franklin pedal in the 4th position, but I can't seem to get used to it. I suppose if I had the time to devote to it, I might like it.
Lane has 1&2 strings on P1, but I prefer those changes on a knee...maybe if the Sierra wasn't such a pain to experiment with (backing out all the axles, etc.), I might try as Lane suggested.

Well... what if the Franklin Pedal was at the "0" position, instead of the "4" position. Is or can the Franklin Pedal be used in conjunction with something else (lever or pedal)?
Maybe there are other changes that can be used with the outside "C" Pedal or the outside "A" Pedal |

On a standard Emmons setup, I seem to recall that the Franklin pedal is better suited in the "0" position...someone correct me if I'm wrong on that.
