I've added GHS Cryogenic singles to the Forum's "Steel Guitar Shopper" online catalog. Until now, they were only available in the Americana E9th and C6th sets. Cryogenic treatment is said to extend the life of the strings and enhance the tone. The strings are sealed in nitrogen packaging to prevent corrosion.
The strings are available in selected gauges of plain, nickel wound (GHS Sub-Zero Boomers), and the nickel-iron (GHS Progressive) alloy of the Americana pedal steel sets.
I don't have pictures of them yet, but they are in stock. Here's the link:

I haven't tried the Sub-Zero Boomers yet, but the Americana set sounds real good on my E9th. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |
