I took a few videos of the very talented players at the Denver Pedal Steel Guitar Show last Sunday and thought I would share them here.

The first two sets were played through the Telonics combo amp. I have been keen to hear that amp for a while now and was very impressed, however it definitely sounds like a solid state amp which may or may not be up your alley.

The next two sets were played through a Little Walter 50w head with a 112 cab. This amp blew me away and gave me the final nudge to order one of these amps from Phil Bradbury. Tony Ortega played a PSG set through it and then Chuck Lettes played a lap steel set through it. If I'm not mistaken, Tony was using a Benado pedal board and Chuck was using a POD effects unit.

Unfortunately, I had to leave the show early to tend to the family, but it was really inspiring to hear such talented musicians playing through some really nice sounding gear!

We would agree that as far as gear is concerned, the Little Walter amp was the star of the Denver show. Wouldn't it be something to hear this guy blow through one of them?

Thanks for the links.

Can someone help me remember the name of the tune being played on the lap steel? (last of the above links)

Thanks for posting the video! It was good to see Tony, Chuck and old bandmate Johnny Neill.
