Hi everyone
I thought I'd give a little contribution for the beginners in the pedal steel community. I will be tabbing some licks from time to time including some counter points and pivoting. My copedent might be a bit different than yours but I hope you find something useful. Here is the first one.

I forgot to mention that this is E9th tuning (with a few bells and whistles). Here is another similar one.

Peter,

If you have more of these I'd love to see them. I've been thinking and saying for some time now that these short walking licks are constantly heard in songs yet it seems to me they are rarely discussed or tabbed -- and you can use them once, twice, or multiple times in a song. I think they are the one technique that you is hard (but not impossible) to over use.

Thanks again!

Rick

Here is the same phrase but in a higher octave. If you don't have the third string lower you have to slant your bar (see the lower example)

Back from a short vacation in Sweden. Here is a short but useful counter point run.

Thanks Peter. The last counter point run is very useful. It sounds the same as the Mississippi Waltz intro from DeWitt Scott's Anthology but the way you tabbed it seems easier to play.

The various walks from C to F and the ending in F that you posted may be aimed at beginners, but I don't think I can play them on my Stage One! It has no whole tone lower on 2, no whole tone raise on 6 or 7, and no raises or lowers at all on string 9.

Same here. Sad These seem like pretty specific, not very universal, changes.

Still, I appreciate the work and effort! Thanks.
