Hello there, and don't forget...
We have moved our monthly jam to the SECOND Sunday from now on.
The San Antonio Steel Guitar Association will have its next jam session on Sunday June 12th, 2016 at the William Randolph American Legion Post #593 at 326 W. Legion Dr from 2 PM until 5 PM. Steel players are asked to be there in time to be setup and tuned up for the 2 O'clock start. The mission of the San Antonio Steel Guitar Association is to provide an opportunity for current and future steel players to meet, play, listen, and exchange ideas. All steel players (and spectators) are welcome. Admission is free and the Legion's canteen will be open serving your favorite beverage along with burgers and snacks.

Just a quick reminder, the San Antonio Steel Guitar Association monthly jam will be THIS SUNDAY (Second Sunday) from 2:00 till 5:00 at the American Legion, Post 593 in Converse Texas.

| Dog gone, Mike and Mark, I know that we will truly miss both of you fellows at the next round, but as to say, FAMILY trumps. Hope to see ya'll next month. Anyway really looking forward to seeing, hearing those beautiful steels and playing great music with everyone this Sunday. Brother Joe I think will be our emcee. Until Sunday. |

| I plan on being there. We need some participation from the steel guitar community. One of the purposes of these jam sessions is for the players, want to be players, and fans to get together and share songs, technique, buy, sell, or trade gear. We have a good time at the jam sessions and anyone attending will have a good time. Plus, our friend Roger Edgington will have a few minutes to share some hints, tips, and other information on the pedal steel, non-pedal steel. He is a great player and a great guy to take his time and want to help us. Come on out and enjoy a good time. The American Legion puts out a great hamburger and the canteen is open for your favorite beverage. Hope to see you there...and it's free....jr |

| To all, everyone enjoyed the program. Yes there were only TWO steelers, Bill Macumbers from Alice Tx. and Roger Edington, with the back up band. The folks really enjoyed a great afternoon of steel guitar playing and singing. Always good to hear a good note on the end. Until July folks, keep playing and bending those strings. |
