Boy, this sure looks a lot like my ETS Steel Guitars! Especially the legs & body. Any connection? Great guitars...

Raymond I agree the body looks like it was cast from the same mold! They are great guitars.

I've been informed that Carpsteel was actually made with ETS parts from Bud [Carter] & Larry [Agan].... ETS and Carpsteel are essentially the same Bud Carter design, assembled at different locations.

I play a little dobro and am interested in starting on pedal steel. I am unfamiliar with Carp. Is the body aluminum? I am on my phone right now, but it looks like the body is a dark blue. Am I correct? How old is the guitar? Too bad I no longer live in Hattiesburg. It would have been a quick drive to look at it.

This also looks a lot like my old MSA Sidekick undercarriage... kinda. A lot more going on here though.
