I bought 3 poster boards to hang from the ceiling right in front of me while I practice, so I can reference things quickly and learn them faster. I'm planning on making a section for the flats/sharps of each key, a section for my copedent, a section for various chord positions, a section for what each pedal and lever do, my string gauges, sweetened tuning values.... etc.. Anyone have a good idea of what else would be essential to learn and memorize?

I would make copies of some of the info on this website:
http://steelguitaramerica.com/instruction/beginners/.

It helped me when I started. I did the fingering exercises every time I practiced.

Also, get a copy of the Pedal Steel Guitar E9 Fretboard Reference _DRAFT5.pdf.
http://docslide.us/documents/pedal-steel-guitar-e9-fretboard-reference-draft5.html

Also, a copy of Patricia Warnock's charts:
http://www.cryinsteel.com/
A the bottom of that page, click on the download link, enter your info, and walla, the charts will come.

If you have a problem getting those, email me and I'll send them to you.

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus!

Harmonised scales.

The circle of fifths. Google image search one which shows you relative minors.

I'd simply put the words "DON'T GET UP YET" on it Smile
