My current setup is an Octal V8 through a Tone Block using Strymon reverb and delay pedals. These items plus a Peterson Strobostomp fit snugly but nicely in a small Road Runner pedalboard. Tone is exceptional to put it mildly!

Thanks David, but I was referring to the brand new Tone block 200, which has just come out, it looks a lot like the Mini 101 head, appears to have built in reverb and more eq control, I know the older Tone Block has had some very good reviews on here, glad to hear you like yours.

Thanks Jim, speak to you at Dallas about it, if Chris has one at show I can try it out in MSA room.

Looks a bit large and bulky to me Malcolm Laughing

That's amazing that they can cram that spec into a case that tiny. It's smaller than your wallet!! Laughing

Ken, I actually meant the new Pro Block 200.More on it than Tone block, more EQ and built in reverb.

My flight gets into Dallas 20 minutes after yours, but know you will have to wait on the Jumbo Cargo plane to get in, as it carries your outsize wallet Rolling Eyes

The Pro Block is like the Tone Block but with Reverb and a much expanded preamp section and they have knocked it outta the park.

Danny B Harvey showed up at the White Horse last Sat with his new Pro Block 200. It was to be a trial by fire, as he had just received it. He was playing a semi-hollow body guitar and ran the Block into a partially open-backed cabinet with a single 12 EV.

As he messed with it during the set, he got some glorious sounds, ranging from warm clean to overdrive. It was loud enough for that room/stage with our usual 'enthusiasm' factor.

I didn't get a chance to play PSG through it, but it is very impressive and may be a great option due to the portability---it is incredibly small.

I wish the Pro Block had been available when I bought my 101 Mimi Head. The 101 just feels like it doesn't quite have the power needed for PSG. The Pro Block looks like it has everything you would need. Might have to sell my 101 and step up.

Still can't believe that they built a "pedalboard amp" and instead of keeping a key voicing feature from their amps and the 101 they replaced it with a reverb, a function that a pedal can likely do better.

Dustin, here ya go! The Tone Block 201, introduced about 3 weeks ago. And it's even a little cheaper than the Pro Block 200.

From my perspective, the only weakness in the original Tone Block 200 (which I bought when it first came out) was the eq section which didn't exactly allow one to dial in a good done for pedal steel (to my ears at least). I had to have mine modified.

Tone Block 201 and the Pro Block 200 seem to have solved that problem I bet they sound great. Also, small, light, and portable is really nice.
