Here is a teardrop that I built a few months ago. It is #283.

This is one of the my "special" instruments that I've started building. Just something a little different from the norm of most custom orders. Mainly for stores, but have decided to sell this one myself. Something where I can experiment a little and get a little creative. I've decide to offer this one up as a special Memorial Day Sale.

This one is some of my "old growth" honduran mohagany back and sides with a nice spruce top. I trimmed the instrument with Koa binding and rosewood purfling. the fretboard and headplate have a double of Koa binding and rosewood. It has a super curly fretboard and headplate. I really took a lot of time to miter the joints really nicely and to make sure everything fits perfectly. It is finished with a silky smooth satin lacquer which is still the best sounding finish most protective finish available. Here are some more details.

Honduran Mahogany Back and sides
Sitka Spruce top
Koa binding
Rosewood purfling
Super Curly Fretboard, headplate and bridge
25" scale length
18-1 Grover sta-tite tuners
Smooth Satin Lacquer finish
John Pearse open D tuning strings .060-.015

Please email for more info on the "old growth" honduran mahogany. Price includes hardshell case. Please check out the link for an audio sample of this instrument. But keep in mind that I'm not a professional musician and the recording is fairly amateur and was made with the mic on my digicam.

Price is $1500. I accept Credit Cards, Money orders/checks and paypal. And will gladly split the total price into two payments if needed. Any returns will be handled in the form of an exchange for something of equal value.

I'm transferring to a new webhost. It seems like a lot of the files I did 10 years are not working. Go figure. Should be up again after the weekend. Here's my contact along with another email.
