Ohh yes, Billy Carr, we will even have a dedicated program with all the EXCEL players, like David from New Orleans, YOU and Steve Sanford, Gordon Dodson, and a few others like mine on stage all at one time just to enhance the sound of our EXCELS...Glad you will be here so much, Thanks. Now, if we can only manage to have Margie Mays, the beauty line up will be complete....AND, we just might have a HOF player from Astralia on stage with his brand new D-10-10 pedals,10 knee levers, C6 on top neck per Curly Chalker-ten, ten, ten, ten - can't possible get any better than that. *(But it will).

Anchored by Roy Rosetta, Gene Breeden with his Bakersfield Sound group and staff recording players, Bill Ferguson with his hands on the controls, we will, and do, have the best sound around. Sounds like a song, maybe one will get tabbed..Just talked with R.J. Buras. He has been performing with "The Patsy Cline Show" and we will have a special program from them in memory of Bob Saxton. Bob played with Patsy Cline in their younger days in the early phases of both their great careers in our country music. I am thrilled with all the interest this far in advance of our Nov. 4 & 5 show. Stay tuned. Country Jack Harper will give us a special program, he does not know that yet. Just got to appreciate this great Mississippi talent and all he has done for our steel guitar world....especially here for our efforts in Gulfport.

Might be the leadership at the G'Port shows that brings forth such a great show. I think! I gotta think about it. I thought about it and yep, it is! Ha!

Hi Bill,
Thanks for the nice compliments. I know, as usual, you will put together a great show and Barbara and I are looking forward to being there. It's always a pleasure to come to Gulfport and work your show. Great leaders produce "super" shows my friend.
See you and Miss Betty soon,

Roy, the pleasure is all ours with the presence of you and your lovely wife enhancing our building and stage. Never enough thanks for you two and the support you give to all of us.
Our show is really building in interest this year. R.J. Buras has been playing steel for the Patsy Cline show and it looks like we will be treated to a special performance of this wonderful travelling show. Been on the phone with Tugboat Jerry. He is checking his schedule to see if he can give us a program and show off that Ernest Tubb guitar he just received from Cal Smith. Things are really building up for a great two day good time. Davis County band, with Julie and Glen Musgove, featuring Winston Stree-left handed steel guitarist of many notes, will be here for a star studded Saturday afternoon, evening and night performance. This band opens for Moe Bandy this weekend in the northern part of our state. Gene Breeden brings a group of his studio musicians along with Lorraine Walden to be part of our staff band. Can't forget Joe Wright either..More to come. Just wait and enjoy.
