I have A Nashville 1000 that I love the sound that I get out of it. I really want to lighten my load some. I've ordered cases from Hatton to lighten the steel load some . Now I'm wondering if I should get a Quilter or some other light amp or a different speaker like the Telonics to lighten the amp that's already paid for and not spend big money on a new amp . Anybody used a different speaker in the Peavey amp with good results? _________________ A couple of guitars

I've been pleased with the Sica 15. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

I put a Telonics in my Nashville 1000 and it lightened it up nicely, plus it sounds great!! |

I cut my 1000 down to just the head, and am using a black widow 1501 speaker. Both are a lot easier to pack around, and get a beautiful sound. I have to change the tone knobs a little when I play in different places. |
