Actually Damir, this guitar was built in 1969 in Bakersfield right after Tom Brumley bought the company. It was the 8th guitar built under the new ownership. Everything on this guitar is Scranton parts including the decal. Zane Beck, I am sure had a hand in building this guitar. After he sold the company to Tom, he went to Bakersfield to help them out to get going for awhile. Pretty nice looking guitar there!!!!

Hello Damir.
I believe that your ZB may be the one built right before Jerry Garcia's ZB...which I also believe is #0009

I used to own this guitar. Pete Grant confirmed that it was indeed made right before Jerry's. I was in a bad accident back around 04 and had to sell it before I got a chance to get the mechanics done over, but it was one great sounding guitar and a real looker.

Webb is right on Damir, Jerry's ZB (now owned by Pete Grant, I think) is the next guitar made after this one. If you want true Scranton ZB tone, this is the guitar to have.
