I just read a post that someone has a 1974 Emmons D-10 for sale, serial # 1992-D and that it was built in 1974. I have a SD-12 with a serial number of 120ST-12. Bobbie at Emmons said it was built in 1974 also. Just curious more than anything else, why the big difference in numbering on the D-10 vs. my SD-12. I hate to bother Emmons with this since I know they are very busy building guitars and it's not that big a deal.

The D-10 numbers are a lot higher because they made a lot more of them.
