These were tested by Orange County Speaker last month and they gave "thumbs up". $120 each.
Will be double-boxed for shipping. hb50watt@gmail.com

How much do they weigh. Will these work in a 100 watt twin reverb. |

Hey Clinton, these Altecs would work great in a Twin Reverb provided you have a GOOD BACK or a dolly you can use to help move the amp around. I used to have a Fender Twin with 2-JBL D120f speakers and it was almost all I could do to lift it in and out of a vehicle. Best I remember, the weight with the JBL's was around 75lbs. These Altecs should be close to the same weight as the JBLs. If you can handle a Peavey Vegas 400, you can probably handle a Twin with these speakers. Probably not much heavier than the Vegas.
Good luck with your decision; Altecs are GREAT speakers BTW. Roger |

Clinton, yes these will work in a Twin and I'm guessing they are around 15 lbs each. |
