Real talent on that stage, no pitch correction and no screaming guitars. I don't have any idea who steel player is but very tasteful playing with great tone.

I miss Murph. We shared a gig night for two years at the Continental Club in Austin, and hanging with him was an education in stories of the road. One of the most exciting players ever to listen to, especially when paired with Redd Volkaert.

Man, don't you love that pickin'? Never saw Murph lookin' that young. First time I saw him was in the mid '70s with Vasser Clements I think. He was also blowing bebop on the sax. What a great picker!
