Is there a fakebook out there with a collection of sheet music for popular classical music themes? I am looking for the main melody lines for "The Blue Danube Waltz", Beethoven's 5th & 6th symphonies, some Souza stuff etc. A piano book would work fine. |

I'm sitting here looking at my copy of Richard Wolfe's "Legit professional Fake Book" which is only one of many similar fake books available through any music store. Do a 'Google' search and look for Music fake books or go to Amazon.com and search for Music fake books. You will find many that have the variety you want or will be specialized.
Thanx,

Yes, there are "classical fake books". I had one and it was very cool to find the themes from hundreds, maybe a thousand, of the best known works. I don't think Sousa would be in there tho. |
