These have been a long time coming! Many of you have asked for these white Sho-Bud fretboards over the years for vintage and newer guitars. The easiest to see ever in low light situations. Plus the rare beauty they offer. These are exact , factory style, just like the original, silk screened on metal, white background with colored markers (red and black, black frets). Call for price, (reasonable) or order from the web-site. Pictures also on the web-site.

Cool, I am looking forward to seeing them.

I noticed the "short thumb picking video.

What if we have long thumbs?
Do we only watch it half way through,
or twice?

Roy if they are "Exact Original factory style as Bobbe says; then Yes they are for a 24" scale, as all Sho~bud's were 24" scale.

GREAT. I'll have two of them, possibly sent over to Duane Marrs. No hurry, I'll get with you soon/ I've been swamped.

I'd rather have a couple 3d plastic ones if you have any or know of any. (Ricky maybe?)

How'd it go down south?

Gotta run. No rest for the stupid either...

David the answer to your question is, you put the thumb pick above the knuckle on your thumb, ala Doug Jernigan. LOL

Roy, 24"??? Of course. They are Sho-Buds. Which means they will work on any brand 24" scale guitars. (Unless you play thumb style).

Yes, these are not the plastic dust catcher fretboards that are more commonly known as the "Maverick" fretboards. These are the original professional Sho-Bud fretboards. We have them in black with colored markers and white with standard colored markers.

Leon, Thanks. I liked what I did with my PIII Barf Catchers (The tomato sees are HELL to get out). I stripped them painted them with white plastic bonding paint, coated them with heavy clear, and embedded glitter in them. I've got more than 6 months to figure out what I'm gonna do, and I've toyed with setting up my own with white wood and engraving.

We'll see.

They are sure back in style though!

Eric, I have a motorcycle I want you to paint. Do you have any glitter left? Does it make it any easier to see in the dark? What's it going to take to move you to Nashville?

Your buddy,

Hey Bobbe, now that you have solved the white Sho-Bud fretboard dilemma, how about working on some chrome 12 string Emmons fretboards?

Hmm.... Let me think.

The special glitter I paint those fretboards with is a kind that is only visible to gay people, and I can't see it myself. I took the paint store's word for it.. Plenty of people comment on it at the truck stop though..

Seriously though I painted my Pan, and after dealing with the Diisocyanate in the paint, unless you have a SCBA, it's better left to pro's. That stuff can kill you, even through your skin...

Moving to Nashville?

I dunno.

I'll think about it.

Is Brandy still working at the Store?

Eric, Brandy still here? Well , no but we have a cople other girls that make Brandy look like a young boy.

On another subject, I had a visitor in the store today that a few of you may remember, quite a contraversial guy, a good player and some one that would argue with a fence post. I just met him for the first time today but have seen hundreds of his EZ Board forum posts. Does Anyone remember:
Marty Pollard?????? Signed in as "Marty". Nice guy.

bobbe

P.S., he bought four white Sho-Bud fret boards (for his Dek-Lee's).
