Dobro - metal body roundneck question

Dear Friends!

my buddy would like to sell his dobro. I'd like to ask to you to help to determine its value. It is an original Dobro, metal body, round neck, excellent condition, hard shell case included. It is from the early or the middle of the 80s I belive based on its serial.

I used to have that exact model. I don't what the value is in today's market.
I believe your model is an OMI guitar which refers to a guitar that was made by Dobro before the company was bought by Gibson in 1993, which as a selling point.
