It finally here!! It sounds, looks and plays GREAT. Thanks Greg Jones for a fantastic job. I'll be "road testing " it this Sunday at the Make Out Room in San Francisco. If anyone is wondering if they should have Greg restore that old ZB you have laying around - do it! You won't be dissapointed.

Hey Dave, If you didn't get yourself treated to free tickets to Renfro Valley, then you've been had. When Greg did my D-11, I went to Ky, to pick it up, hustled Greg for free tickets to the show, had dinner with him, don't remember who paid for that. Even though I have a room full of steel guitars, I played it [ole 0017] at the OSGA show this year, and a lot of the old pros raved over it. Greg does a great job, and he's a great guy to boot.I had ole 0017 built in 1968. I've worn it out twice.

I don't feel had at all. California is a long way from Kentucky.

Dave, give me details on the Sunday gig. I might want to come out.
Anyone else in the Bay Area, you might want to consider going to see Dave. One fine a$$ picker.

Richard, the address to The Make Out Room is 3225 22nd St. between Valencia and Mission. Parking is miserable around there!! There are three bands on the bill. I play with is I See Hawks in LA.
I'm not sure which slot we have but I hope it early. Let me know if you're coming and I'll put you on the guest list.

Dave, you've got yourself one monster guitar in that Greg Jones restored ZB. Play it proud. Please post some sound clips if you get a chance.

Thanks for the kind words Dave, I am glad you like it. I miss the guitar already, it was like a member of the family moving out west when I shipped it off!!!! It sure was a pleasure bringing that guitar back to life. I am glad that it went to someone who will play and enjoy it. AND, if you are ever here in Kentucky, the tickets for the Renfro Shows are on me!!!!

Well, the ZB passed the test with flying colors because even the wife noticed the superior tone that was happening, and I didn't even have to ask her this time!
I'll make a few minor adjustments and I'll be dialed in.

Hopefully this fall!
Hey Dave do you have that vertical E --> F# raise on this bad-boy? If so, how is the travel?

Yes I do Greg. The travel is better than the E to F# on my Sho Bud.
