In the steel break to Alan Jackson's "Just playing possum" Paul Franklin (?) plays something like the following as a triplet:

1_______________________________
2_______________________________
3___10B___9B___8B___8___________
4___10C___9C___8C___8___________
5_______________________________

What is the best way to finger these notes? Index+middle, or thumb+middle? Both ways seem awfully fast for me. I am faking it this way:

1_______________________________
2_______________________________
3___10B________8B~8_____________
4___10C___9C___8C~8_____________
5_______________________________

M M
I T I

Any hint welcome. Thanks.

Hans

Personally, I'd probly use my index and middle fingers, index and middle on the 2 notes and thumb on the single (middle) note.
