Well, I know my playing is sort of an acquired taste and this rendition of this classic song is certainly a bit different. So there is the disclaimer. LOL. Check it out and see what ya think.

no explanation necessary, zane, on playing things 'your way'! that's what makes you more interesting than many. you play with more freedom.
everyone could learn that from you.
you don't copy, you create.

Bobbe said in one of his videos to "don't be afraid to take liberties with a song". Sounded good to me. _________________ D.S. Rigsby |

Nice to see you post, Zane. Excellent as you usually play! Love that bend at the end.
I lost my Gilligans Island style instrumental song I brought to your studio in Bald Knob, that had Bobbe and Buddy on it.
I hadn't recorded my part yet and you played great and Bobbe played thumb style.
Good to see you back and thanks again for asking me to sit in with yo,at the first Dallas Jamboree in '85.
We played "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry". _________________ Excel 3/4 Pedal With An 8 String Hawaiian Neck, Sierra Tapper (10 string with a raised fretboard to fret with fingers), Single neck Fessenden 3/5

My love for this wonderful instrument only grows stronger when I hear young people play so masterfully, and with such feeling, as you have on this recording. Thank you, Zane. |
