Does anyone have a nice Boss Tone setting on a RP150?

The Boss Tone is a "Fuzz" effect, not distortion. Is there a "Fuzz" effect in that unit?

Dennis.....Google BOSS FZ-5 can't go wrong there as it emulates the 60's and 70's "Fuzz" sounds. Best go before the volume pedal. I have an early Boss tone, and I compared it with an earlier Boss distortion stomp pedal...pretty similar tones....plus it's the way you use it, for simulation.

Love your "Dobro" sound on your lap steel Very Happy ....I get the same from my Boss GE-7 Graphic with the right settings for pedal steel. Now I don't use my Match/Bro as I get the right sounds from my GE-7.

I don't think you'll find a BossTone effect as the RP is a reverb/phaser combo vs the RD reverb/distortion but the bosstone as Jack pointed out is a specific fuzz sound.

If he means the Digitech RP150 that's a full blown multi FX - not just reverb/phaser (which would be a pretty weird combination if it did only do two things).

And yes, it does include Fuzz - pretty close to a Boss Tone actually. Called FF it is modeled on the classic Fuzz Face pedal.

If you look up Dick Sexton on the forum,he wrote several patches for that unit. Quite a few of us use the RP 150/155. I use the sexton patches. The Digitech RP 150/155 and up are about as fine as you'll find. They also have Lexicon reverbs on board !

Just to clear a point, I did not write most of those settings, just made them available on my One Drive for everybody to view or download. I believe the bulk should be credited to Steve English who was kind enough to share. Again, thank you Steve.

That said, if anyone has settings and would like to share them, I will put them up with the others. We all gain!

What a great place this is...

Dick it's been so long that I forgot. When those were made available it made me very happy because it gave a good starting point.

Yes Dennis I think you'd have to spend a few hundred more to get anything comparable to the Digitech units. Perfect for pedal steel imho. Have fun !
