Hey folks. Where can I find a list of pedal steel part names and their definitions? Like:

Pull Rod: looks like this and does so and so

Is there anything like that here on the forum, or another good site that has something like that?

Yes, by far the Carter website. I know of nowhere else where sooooo much has been done to bring the steel guitar into the world of enlightenment, as the Carter folk.

I only wish day wudunt call dem thangs "pull bars"!

But hey, who am I to say?

I applaud them for their consistent "User friendly" approach to our beloved instrument.

May Jesus bless Bud Carter, John and Ann Fabian for what they have done for the steel guitar community, and may HE bless all of you,

carl

You can also go to the Emmons web site and pretty much find every part conceivable and by name for the pedal steel. It's all nicely laid out, too.
