Bought it new. Moderate use. Sat in the case for 12 years until I started playing again three years ago. Bought a new steel, no place to keep it.
One of the great early guitars built by Bud Carter. Plays smooth with great pedal action.
Perfect condition, no dents, scratches or nicks. All of the trim is inlaid including the logo.
Has the original Bill Lawrence 705 pups. The sound is full and clean with guts.
Buddy Emmons setup with a split pedal and a compensator on the 6th string. All original parts except the vertical lever that Jim Palenscar built for me.
It's all tuned up and ready to play. You don't need to do a thing to it.
Asking for offers with a base in the mid to high teens.
I'll have it in Dallas at the show this week. You can pick it up there or I'll ship.
Call me at 2816354026.
Come by and take a look. Thanks, Ron

Ron you have a piece of history. I have an EMCI, they were built by Bud Carter,to Buddy Emmons' specifications. Mine was one of six custom models. Mine was built for Ron Elliott, of the forum. The MCI's and EMCI's were outstanding guitars. So much craftsmanship and outstanding tone made them the best made.

I had one identical to that one with the 705 pickups. Killer tone and sustain. Only reason I sold it and 3 others was to rake up $30k in a hurry for a recording console. Awesome instrument! Anything Bud Carter was involved with was great! |
