I can’t say what year this Emmons pac a seat was made but it has seen many years of use.
I bought this seat from Bud Vanderberg in 2009 on the SGF. I emailed him when I received it to tell him it arrived OK and looked like it would tell some great stories if it could talk.
He emailed me back and told me he had owned it for about 20 years and John Hughey was the original owner. This is not to be construed as proof positive, but Bud has been very friendly towards me, I believe him to be an honest man and he said I had his permission to share his reply about the seat.
It has been well used but is still a solid and sturdy steeler’s seat and I am about 250 lbs.
The handle, latches and hinges work great, all wood joints are solid and the “old school†spring type fold up legs have new nuts and bolts anchoring them firmly to the seat bottom.
The inside compartments have foam inserts. The vinyl seat and supporting foam are in good shape but obviously not original to the seat.
This is an Emmons pac a seat that has seen a lot of gigs and has a lot of gigs left on it. Buyer to pay shipping but I will only charge actual shipping costs and send a copy of the shipping receipt if needed. Thanks for looking and email any questions or purchase offers.
Best wishes, Walter
