Can you guys tell me the best lubricant to use on the pedals at the pedal bar. The nylon thingies that the rod goes thru the pedals. I have used 3 in 1 oil a couple of times but it seems to get stiffened up after a while. Any suggestions will be appreciate.

Use some white grease. You need something that doesn't 'run' and white grease is thick but clean -- won't gum up later. Don't use too much. It will attract dust and grime.

My pedal bar attracts beer, colas, Margueritas and those sweet, sticky drinks that come with umbrellas in them. None of these are good lubricants. |

I thought the reason for using nylon/delrin bushings precluded the use of lubrication.???

Then shoot 'em full of Pennzoil Silver Chassis Lube...[This message was edited by Ray Minich on 29 June 2004 at 02:52 PM.] |

Sardine oil. After you eat the sardines, just pour the oil on the pedals. Don't worrry about any excess, the cat will lick it off.
