If so, I have a favor to ask. There's a steel guitar I own at my friend's house in Lafayette.

If it would be convenient for a Forumite to pick it up and bring it to me at the Jamboree next week, I will be eternally grateful and would be happy to reimburse my benefactor for any extra expense or hassle it might involve.

Please contact by email, PM, or whatever.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?
