Thanks to the feedback I got from forum members I have fixed, improved and expanded the chord finder. It now works with E9th as well as C6th tunings. Also, I have added the ability to define multiple left and right kicks for those of you who have half-stop knee levers or more than one kick left or right.

Again, all comments are welcome.

ps, the default tunings are the Emmons copedents as described in b0b's tuning page.

When I click on find chords, I just get an error 8000 message and a note about mismatch type script. I am on a Macintosh iMac. Does it not work Mac's?

Thanks, everyone, for your nice remarks. Just to clarify how you setup your copedent, you need to use the pull-down menus for each string to select the notes, you can't type into the space. I'll put better instructions up on the site.

Stephen,
There is a problem with something..
I open your chord finder chart on Internet Explorer but no drop down boxes. But I also have Netscape 4.7 as a brouser on another computer and it works and I can see the drop boxes beside the note boxes.
I don't know why both computers ar on the same dial up line
Thank you for helping all of us learn more about the works of the Steel Guitar

Well Dave
I am using Window 98 with Internet Explorer and it don't work for me. Only when I use Netscape 7.1 do I get the drop boxes. So something ain't working right.

How can I save my copedant so that next time I fire up the pc I can get it? I saved it last night and had to enter it again this morning. Once it's in, this works great!

Larry, drop me an email and let me know which version of IE you are using (go to Help/About to find out).

Jack, the copedent is stored as a cookie on your computer, so if you are blocking cookies, it won't work.
