Are these the names of three different guitars or are they all one and the same company? |

They're all different but made by the same person. ZB was the 1st great brand manufactured by the late Zane Beck. BMI was his next venture and stands for Beck Musical Instruments. I currently play one of their single 12's, Beck was Zane's last name of course. He was a great player, a nice person, and made great steels. The BMI's are still being made in Arkansas by Don Fritche. Have a good 'un, JH

Hi tbhenry, When you mentioned the third name "Beck", were you referring to a single neck steel guitar that Bobbe had in his store recently? I saw it, but didn't inquire about it.

No Roger, I saw a Beck on ebay. I think it is still on. I just became intrigued with these different names. ZB BMI BECK. |
