Anyone successfully put wheels and a handle on a Sho-Bud D-10 case to do away with a hand truck??

Or is the pressboard too fragile, and it just breaks the box?

It is an original Sho-Bud carrying case 1981 with orange interior.
Would this trash or imporve it's intrinsic value or doesn't it matter.

For train gigs, before I can get a super light S-12, I need to get the traveling package as small as possible.

David, every once in a while LIDL sells a hand truck that is up to german TUV specs and cuts it

a friend of mine has one that i used since then i've been keepin' my eye out 4 1
they're light, sturdy and fold up
that's LIDL - i'm sure you get their adverts in the mailbox

Consider building a small 6-8" deep slip
over design box for your case. Mount the casters to it and just slip it over the end of case and you are ready to go. That way
you won't hurt the case. They are thin.

I have an excelent folding hand truck, very small and light, but it was still too much.

I have priced a pair of flight cases to split the steel and it's extras into two more managable,
seperatable packages, that attach if I want,
or separate if needed. But it's a bit to expensive.

I thought to save the scheckles for a Milleneum U-12 and try some wheels for the moment.
