In another recent thread I averred that it might be cool to do a "Tribute" site to the creations of Mr Bruce Zumsteg, the ZumSteel Pedal Steel Guitar;

As I envision it this would NOT be an overt advertisement or promotional site, but just pix of guitars he has created. Kind of like Ricky Davis' "House of Wood" site pays tribute to fine lacquer body guitars.'Cept this would feature a particular maker's work.

"Here's dva's two tone blue U12 Zum", "Here's Douggie's beautiful 'walnut' mica keyless Zum", "Here is Mark playing the infamous PURPLE Zum" etc.

I would acknowledge the picture submitters as well current owners of the guitars (if not the same person). I think I would NOT include Zumsteel's phone number or address as this is available in Bruce's own ads in newsletters, and on line elsewhere.

If you would like your Zum included, you can e-mail me pictures. I will as a summer project collect and host them from my site.

Thanks to those who have responded! If you could include the year of manufacture, if you know it, when you send the pix, I'd appreciate it.

Dave,
The GaSGA just hosted our first Georgia Peach Jam. In the Events & Announcements section is a link to pictures that were taken. You will see Bob Evens' gray Zum, my blue one, Randy Beavers with "the mongrel", and Tommy Dodd with his new axe. All are sights to behold! http://www.pbase.com/cozy123/ga_peach_jam
Enjoy!
