Circa 1930's, 1940's solid mahogany parlor guitar with original purple felt lined soft-shell case. Student model. MOT (Mother of Toilet Seat) fret-board and pick-guard. This guitar (one like it) has been featured in at least 2 hardback books on American Guitars. Meant to be played lap style (came fitted with a nut riser and tone bar) but has a round neck. I took the nut riser off. Later models feature a less stylized bridge more like an Oahu. This is the one featured in the book "American Guitars." All original and intact (nothing altered, no repairs) with original case. Solid and in good shape. There is no maker mark but likely built by Regal or Kay. It's pretty! Been on my wall for 20 years. $450 OBO. You can email me at contact@twofeetdown.com Eric
