On my iMac – I want to monitor with an Alesis RA-100 power amp (1/4" in) and Yamaha NS-10’s. How can I hook these up? Can I wire out of the headphone amp with a connector like this or are their better options? Thanks on advance for any advice.

Robert, that will work but only if what ever recording program you're using plays back through your onboard sound card. I might suggest getting the highest quality connectors and cords possible.
Those look pretty cheap.

Mark - Thanks - This is info I needed. Just want to run some sound through my amp & monitors until I get my next recording rig so this will do for now. Thanks for answer.
