I have 2 computers, and one set of computer speakers. Currently I have cords with female plugs coming from each computer, and one cord with a male plug coming from the speakers. When I want to switch to the other computer, I have to unplug the male cord and move it to the other female plug.
Is there a way to set up a switch to just disconnect from one to the other? _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . I have a switch box that I got from Radio Shack. The output goes to the sound card in my music PC. I can choose from three inputs: Turntable, tape deck or small mixer. This switch box uses RCA jacks, but I would be surprised if they don't make one with mini-phone (1/8") jacks. So try your local Radio Shack or similar. It was a long time ago now, but the I think the cost was about ten bucks.
If you are handy with such stuff, you could get a switch, jacks and project box and build one easy enough for about ten bucks.

The old Radio Shack switches are history.
Thee are probably speaker switches around. Just depends on how much you are willing to pay for them. I see speaker switches for recording studio speakers but because they are for "recording studio" they are overpriced. |

You could a KMV harness with audio and use one keyboard, mouse, monitor and speakers on both computers. |

I am pretty handy with electronics stuff. I would just need to know what type of switch, and how to wire it up. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) .
